The AGE-FRIENDLY TOOLKIT project opens a wide-ranging exchange of information between age-friendly cities, seniors’ organizations and educational and training experts in order to define some key competencies of a new professional profile of reference for the development of age friendly cities.
The partners will define a set of open educational resources and learning content to train professionals in promoting the development of age-friendly cities.
AGE-FRIENDLY TOOLKIT project aims to share experiences internationally and work together to face the challenges of longevity and demographic transition at the local level. The partners will develop learning content and materials according to the training curriculum.
THE MAIN AGE-FRIENDLY TOOLKIT PROJECT RESULTS ARE:
- a training curriculum including key competencies of the new professional profile of reference for inclusive ageing in age-friendly cities”
- a set of open educational resources and learning content, provided for free through an app
The project is carried out in collaboration with partner from Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Belgium and supported by the Erasmus+ program.
