The AI-CARE project addresses the urgent need for AI-driven training for remote caregivers, particularly those entering the care sector in foreign countries. By offering accessible online courses and distance learning tools, the project aims to equip caregivers with essential AI skills to enhance healthcare delivery across borders.
AI-CARE focuses on bridging gaps in healthcare quality and access by working with local healthcare providers and community leaders to ensure sustainability and relevance. The project promotes inclusivity, reducing disparities based on geography, socio-economic status, or background.
Key outcomes include:
- Tailored AI education for caregivers to improve patient care.
- Reduced inequalities in healthcare training through digital accessibility.
- Enhanced employability for caregivers, fostering a skilled and diverse workforce.
- By aligning with Erasmus+ priorities of digital transformation, inclusion, and support for educators, AI-CARE is a pioneering effort to revolutionise caregiver training and contribute to a more equitable and sustainable healthcare system globally.
