Project Background and Objectives
The project aims to develop and implement an XR tool for healthcare professionals specializing in the care of elderly individuals with mild dementia. This tool will be used for gait training to improve the quality of life for elderly citizens. A secondary goal is to train healthcare professionals in the use of XR technologies to enhance their employment opportunities.

Activities
The project will carry out various activities divided into five work packages:

  1. Project Management
  2. Development of Training Program Manual
  3. Design and Development of XR Tool
  4. Training and National Pilot Testing
  5. Dissemination and Communication


Expected Outcomes
The project has three main objectives:

  1. Develop and implement an XR tool for gait training to improve digital readiness and offer innovative skill development opportunities.
  2. Develop a training program manual and conduct training at local and multinational levels.
  3. Pilot-test the XR tool in elderly populations to ensure its suitability and promote its adoption in healthcare education programs.

The project is carried out in collaboration with partners from Cyprus, Spain and Italy, and is supported by the Erasmus+ program
