Health-Innova

Innovations in the healthcare and personal care sector.

The Health-Innova project was developed in response to the growing need for educational systems, particularly within vocational education and training (VET), to embrace innovative strategies that address the challenges faced by the healthcare sector in Europe.

The project's core objective is to enhance the quality of healthcare services by improving educational processes through the integration of new technologies and methodologies. With the increasing demand for remote or blended learning models, especially in the context of healthcare education, the project seeks to equip educational institutions with the tools and strategies necessary to adapt to these new learning environments.

The project is primarily focused on identifying and promoting the use of digital tools that can help meet procedural evaluation criteria for healthcare training. In doing so, the project aims to increase the preparedness of teachers, managers, and students for situations requiring distance or hybrid learning methods. By establishing a pan-European network of institutions from the healthcare, social care, and VET sectors, the project also aligns with the global goals set out by the United Nations, particularly Sustainable Development Goal 3, which focuses on improving health and well-being for all.

Through the identification of best practices, the dissemination of successful methodologies, and the development of a stable consortium, Health-Innova aims to build a solid foundation for long-term collaboration. The project seeks to create a significant impact on the healthcare education landscape by ensuring that innovative practices and digital technologies are widely shared and implemented across Europe.

The project is carried out in collaboration with partners from Spain and Romania and is supported by the Erasmus+ program.

Erasmus+ Project number: 2023-1-ES01-KA210-VET-000161083.

The project period is September 2023 – February 2025.
