The KA2 Erasmus+ project Counteracting AGEism for a Europe open to all (PAGES) is a 32- month project; 2022 – 2024.

The PAGES project aims to support the global combat on ageism and to foster intergenerational cohesion at community level.

The target groups are;

  • adult educators; They will be vehicles of the promotion of the activities and learning environment
  • Old and young people¸ Direct target group of the intergenerational program that will be created
  • Community centers; That can use and implement the model and approach.

The primary goals are to promote awareness on the importance to talk and counteract ageism in todays society.

  • Combat interpersonal and self-directed ageism by intergenerational non-formal education activities, targeting young and old people.
  • Upskilling adult educators on how they can engage older adults in lifelong learning activities in the community, by involving them in an action-learning program.
  • Strengthen the European collaboration between partner organizations in the field of ageing, by endorsing the global campaign to fight ageism.

The partnership consists of Austria (Verein der Akademie für Bildung, Culture, Kunst, Jugend und Sport der Europäischen Union), Portugal (Aproximar-cooperative de solidariedade social), Turkey (Kadin ve Genc Girisim Merkezi Dernegi - Woman and Young Entrepreneurship Centre Association), Germany (ACEEU GmbH), Romania (Ascociata European association for social innovation), Denmark (SOSU Ostjylland).
